I've just removed some moulded shelves from my brew fridge that were obstructing the door from closing when a cornie was in it, however this has left insulation exposed, does anyone have any suggestions for sealing the exposed stuff?
Also, I'm unable to fit a second cornie in due to the fridge thermostat adjustment knob and light assembly (its located relatively low on the interior fridge sidewall), I'm a bit nervous of hacking at this due to the electrics beneath, has anyone had a go at removing / moving this assembly?
Cheers
Dan

Re: Cornie Fridge
I have the same sort of fridge, converted a month ago.

Once a week I empty it and wipe away any moisture, there is hardly any even though the door gets opened most days as my daughter keeps chocolate in it. Most kegorators wouldn't have moist fresh air introduced as often. No mould so far. Duck tape or similar is fine.

Thanks for the help guys.
Vacant, do you have any pics of your light/thermostat mod?

Re: Cornie Fridge
The door light switch/thermostat housing was held on by a couple of screws. There were four wires in the cable leading to the housing. These were a live and neutral going to the bulb and two wires going to the thermostat knob. I had some terminal block and snipped off a row of three connectors. Once I'd chopped the cable and pulled it out of the back of the fridge the two thermostat wires were shorted together in one connector (i.e. the fridge would always want to be on), the live went to the second connector, and the neutral to the third i.e. those two are not connecting to anything, just insulated from each other.danwlx wrote:Vacant, do you have any pics of your light/thermostat mod?
