Budget co2 valve

Post by wanus » Mon Aug 24, 2015 11:08 pm

Hello all,
Three month ago i set a coopers wheat beer away then kegged it b4 tappin it ten week later. It tasted very good but was under carbonated and did not retain its head.Havin a co2 valve on the keg i charged it but the metal threaded grub screw part slipped through the seal and the plastic cap.I think then, theres the reason for insufficent carbonation. So does anyone out there lubricate that bit or shud it have just been tighter?Thanx in advance for any reply?
