Scratched keg

Post by Midlife » Thu Oct 01, 2015 8:48 pm

Hello, it might be me and I'm over worrying but I noticed I have somehow scratched the bottom of my cory keg, I can only assume I must have done it with the dip tube? If I rub my finger over it I cant feel anything, but it also looks discoloured now. How do you clean this up, what's the best thing to use or do I leave it alone?

Cheers

Doug

The kegs are pasivated with acid inside and some outside as well. which gives its gray-ish dull colour, and that's whats scratched abit, but not to worry it gets pasivated with O2, just a bit slower. :=P

+1 dont worry about it, i use laundry oxi as a cleaner and starsan sanitiser, and have 2nd use kegs with much more dip-tube rubbing evidence than that... Not a problem ;)
