I’m looking forward to this Monday night 23rd Nov.

Anybody want to join us friendly bunch of brewers. Experienced or beginners are very welcome.

There’s a wealth of brewing knowledge around our table, over 100 years of brewing experience (an that’s just Eric) very often we swap or give away stuff, and some of us have used equipment for sale. So if you are just starting up, this could be worth a visit. And the beers dam good too.

ERIC I don’t know if it’s been said yet, But were picking you up from your house at about 7.15pm.
We’ll even drop you home afterwards, but might have to put you in the boot to enable us to hear the sat nav. Now that’s good service eh

Do you allow Geordies? ;-)

I'll negotiate with SWMBO when she gets in, but even without her help it's not that far to stagger from the Metro station is it?
Actually after checking it's actually doable on public transport even with me leaving at near "closing time", I can get to Regent Centre & walk home from there.

I take it driving & not being able to drink on a brewers night would see me banned from the forum ;-) but it is a "school night" so moderation will be practised.

Few questions, What time do you get there, what time do you leave, do you eat there & how do I recognise you? (copy of the Camra guide under an arm?)

Cheers

You guys serve crack cocaine at these gatherings? I'm surprised there aren't more people addicting to attending! :)

What! there's going to be Southeners there as well, I thought they all liked it warm, flat, & with no head ;-)

I'm not into football, or ball sports in general really so I can pretty much go anywhere.

Happily nobody every wants to fight about kit cars/camping/guns etc. :-)

That's good news although it's more Essex I'm from. Hope I can make it but might be tricky as not finished Mrs Demig's new kitchen and I'm told that's a priority :(

Hi Norm, thanks, that's very considerate. New hip is now in good order so have walked to the pub unaided, but last night's weather was too bad and used the bus. We drop grandchildren at Brownies in Chester-le-Street for 6:30, so should be home in time.

Looking forward to the evening, Monday nights have been quiet there of late.
