I have a couple of second hand, allegedly grade 'A' cornies bought elsewhere.
They've all leaked to some extent. Got the first airtight now, after changing all the seals and a post. But the second one I have just kegged and have found the PRV really dodgy.
I'll also need to change another very dented post (but the supplier sent a third party exchange for this one) plus all the seals as with the last one I should imagine, just to be on the safe side, nullifying buying 'grade A'!.
As my main thought was the lid or PRV was leaking I ordered a generic grey plastic PRV replacement online (that everyone sells), but it wasn't even a close fit.
So, on the arrival of the brand new BrewUK keg through desperation, I used the new corney lid off that one.
It's great, really tight fitting on the old corny, not just the tight, snug fit on the plastic seal, but the metal lid is a really tight fit (almost touching) to the steel surround of the old corny body itself.
The point of this thread? Is there a realiable supplier of authentic AEB corny lids or PRVs as I've just bought from BrewUK? The one supplied by BrewUK had a SS PRV, as seen in the picture below, and something I'd definitely buy for my corny, either the entire lid kit assembly or SS PRV by itself! I've emailed BrewUK to see what they can supply as their lid and PRV option is not the same and out of stock. Hopefully they'll get in the new style they supplied on my brand new AEB keg.

Anyone seen these on offer anywhere else to buy in the U.K. ???
