Re: Milk stout hops
Personally I'm never one for not adding late hops in any style. Fuggle would work well but Bramling Cross is always a cracker for stouts and porters.

Re: Milk stout hops
I like Bramling Cross myself, however if you don't have access to those then some EKG or Fuggles will do the job .

Seems bramling cross is popular, il hunt some down
Most recipes only call for a very small hop addition at about 10-15 minutes

Re: Milk stout hops
Hops don't play much of a part in milk stout so I don't think it matters all that much which bittering hop you use. As far as late hopping goes add, or don't add, whichever hop you like.
I'm just here for the beer.
Re: Milk stout hops
I did a porter recently and used a small amount of Progress for both bittering and at flame out, worked really well and i'd definitely use it in a stout or porter again.
