Up my Daughters` in Notts 2 weeks ago, Nicola had a bottle of `Old Mout` Kiwi and Lime Cider.
Very Nice too. 4% or 4.1%. Very thin tasting, too weak for me.
Nicola said the fateful words `You could make this`.
Down the Polish shop, 8Lts of Kiwi and Lime Juice...........
8Lts Polish Kiwi and Lime Juice
12Lts Tesco Apple Juice
3 mugs tea, 4 tea bags each
3tsp Yeast and 3tsp Nutrient
SG @ 22deg 1040
FG 1000
Batch Prime 151gr sugar
No Heater, no airlock, just wrapped up in a big old duvet and stuck in the Front Room.
I have made 2115Lts of TC in my short Brewing time (is that too much)?
I have never seen such a Violent spew as this in a TC.
The FV lid was pushed off, duvet covered in muck etc, etc.....
That green muck was still there even after I had broken up the 12mm hard crust which had formed on the surface.
Muslin on the end of Syphon tube and the aquarium fish catcher caught all the floaty bits.
Looks nice in the bottles....
The taste from the FV was a bit sharp. The taste after priming was BLM!

Haha, love that!
Takes me back to my first attempt at a TC, ended up at 13% and obviously kept fermenting in the bottle.
When I opened the first 330ml bottle on my kitchen worktop, there was a tiny pause, and then the whole contents flew out around the kitchen
Thankfully I have progressed slightly since those early days.

Re: Kiwi and Lime TC.......
I read this......http://www.cider.org.uk/keeving.html
a week before I made this TC. I only thought of the crust staying on after I had broken it up! Bugger.
Oh Well, time to get another Brew on.

MB,
I have also inadvertently drunk 1.528 of those plastic vats of Kit Beers.
