Knocked this up yesterday.
18lts Tesco apple juice
1 big watermelon
Chopped a quarter of the melon and put it in the FV with 2Lts AJ,
gave it a good drilling with plasteres whisk to see if it would go to mush.
It did not.
MrsAles in work so I thought to use her top of the range Kenwood mixer/blender.
Yes, it mashed the next quarter melon lovely mun, went to take off the glass jar thing and
the wrong bit came off! Bloody melon juice all over the units!
Managed to save some of it.
The other half melon mushed up nicely and the glass jar thing came off OK this time.
3 mugs of tea, 4 bags each,
3tsp Yeast, 3tsp nutrient in at 22deg
SG 1040

Even after batch priming with 150gr sugar it was still sharp!
Not as sharp as before, but bloody hell mun, still sharp.

At 5.5% it is very get you drunk stuff, not nice, but why waste it!
