I can remember some alcohol pop called hooch here in the uk, you can’t mean that can you? Other than that hooch usually refers to the “d” word (plus istilling) Which is a no no as it’s illegal. Perhaps a super strong cider, back in the eighties the convoy hippies called strong cider hooch, I was a victim at many festivals! Those were the days (drones on and on about how all festivals are crap now)....

This basically tastes like shop bought lemonade but is alcoholic, right? I remember trying the stuff in the early 1990s when I was probably not old enough to drink it!
I suspect you are going to struggle to make anything like it to be honest. You would need to find a way to ferment sugary water (plus lemons) in away that left a lot of residual sweetness. I guess you could use artificial sweetener which won’t ferment?
