Hi IPA
Ive always used this formulae
1.048 - 1.011 = 0.037 X 130 = 4.81%
Dont know if its any better or worse than the formulae youve used.
Regards
Pete
How strange your formula works for both Beer Engine and Graham's books.
Many thanks

Graham

Prints of my recipes occasionally express hop alpha % and bcu % values to more than 10 decimal points. Do I need to toggle something?

cheers

Hi ST,

Graham passed on a number of years ago 😭

This is a weird quirk I've regularly observed since I started using this ~10 years ago (much to the amusement if my brewclub when I share recipes...). I don't think there's a way to correct this without modifying the software and I suspect this may have been on Graham's "to do list" before he moved on.

If I'm wrong I'd be very interested to know how to fix it...

Thanks for informing me of Graham's passing. Decimal points don't seem important now
