I am actually having the opposite problem - I've insulated my pot with Thermawrap and the hob keeps cutting out - I've spoken to the supplier and he said that the insulated pot, combined with it touching the outer metal casing because of the size of the pot, results in the unit overheating and shutting down.beerlover1983 wrote:This is what i use see my video below.The key to it is insulation in the pot for faster ramp times.Obviously with no naked flames this can be what you like but foil backed camping mats work fine.And make sure the lid is insulated.
